A Dallas native, Russell Cosby has been involved in commercial real estate in the Metroplex since July 1979. Concentrating primarily in office and industrial leasing, he specializes in tenant-representation and has significant experience in land sales, site acquisition and ground leases. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in May 1979 with a BBA in real estate, Russell went to work with Campbell & Mullen, Inc. Cosby became Vice President of marketing for commercial projects totaling in excess of 2,000,000 square feet while beginning to represent tenants in the capacity of a tenant-rep broker. After a short stint with Suburban American Company as Vice President of Commercial Marketing, Russell returned to work with Dick Mullen to form Mullen/Cosby in July 1986 and built a company specializing in tenant representation and commercial and industrial real estate brokerage services. His experience has involved lease transactions ranging from 1,000 to nearly 100,000 square feet and marketing projects from 60,000 to 1,000,000. In addition to his leasing activities, he has experience in providing market studies, market analysis and a limited background in appraisal. Russell’s vast experience is being put to good use as a key player in the founding Magellan Commercial Realty team. He resides in Dallas with his wife and has two children in college.
