Roy E. Parrott was named to the board of directors for Lear Corporation in February 1997.
In January 2003, Parrott retired from Metaldyne Corporation where he served as president of Business Operations since December 2000. Metaldyne Corporation, an integrated metal solutions supplier, purchased Simpson Industries, Inc. in December 2000.
