As Director of Client Engagements at Lab49, Ross Hamilton is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of client and partner projects, and providing leadership and guidance to client and Lab49 project teams alike. Ross is also responsible for defining Lab49's marketing presence and initiatives.
Ross has many years of experience in delivering pricing, trading and risk management solutions for a variety of investment banks and other financial institutions. Ross has extensive knowledge of the financial services market including FX Options, Fixed Income, Structured Products, Emerging markets, Commodities and Interest Rate Derivatives, as well as clients' business practices. Ross is particularly focused on the delivery of business value early and frequently to clients through iterative development processes and various engagement, project and risk management models.
Prior to Lab49, Ross has held number of roles that has included managing successful IT delivery organizations; developing marketing strategies for emerging technology companies; and, developing industry-wide business relationships. Serving as a Vice President at JPMorgan, Ross has also held a number of systems development, project management and program management roles in various global markets businesses. In addition to the Financial Services Industry, he also has experience in the mobile & wireless and aerospace industries.
Ross holds a First Class Honours Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. He is also a founding member of the GlobalScot business network for Scots, and those with a strong affiliation for Scotland, to help Scottish companies develop their businesses by providing business advice, market intelligence, and mentoring. |
