Beginning his second stint with the Cardinals after re-signing with the team on 4/12/07, agreeing to a one-year contract.

Previously played with the Cardinals during the 2004-05 seasons, appearing in 29 games with 18 starts. Had a career-best 3.0 sacks for the Cardinals in 2005.

Played 12 games with the Vikings in 2006.

Pro Career:

Originally selected by the Giants in the seventh round (230th overall) of 2001 NFL Draft, played in nine games with one start for the Giants before being released on 9/2/02. Was signed by the 49ers on 9/7/02 and waived on 10/22/02. Re-signed with the Giants on 12/4/02 where he remained on the inactive list for the rest of the season. Spent the 2003 season out of football after being waived by the 49ers. Signed with Arizona as free agent on 4/1/04 and appeared in 29 games with 18 starts before signing with Minnesota in 2006. Re-signed with the Cardinals on 4/12/07, agreeing to a one-year contract.

2006: Saw action in 12 games for the Vikings collected a tackle, a tackle for a loss and one QB hurry vs. Car (9/17) had one tackle when the team made the trip to his home state of Wisconsin to play the Packers tallied two tackles in the season finale vs. StL (12/31).

2005: Started 14 games for the Cardinals as injuries decimated the defensive line started in the season opener @ NYG (9/11) as the Cardinals opened the game with three defensive tackles; finished the game with two solo tackles played in place of the injured Russell Davis who left the game with a bicep injury; recorded one tackle @ Sea (9/25) recorded his second career sack vs. SF (10/2), dumping Tim Rattay to force the 49ers to punt; forced a fumble which was recovered by the 49ers started vs. Car (10/9) and recorded three tackles and recovered a fumble that was forced by Karlos Dansby recorded two tackles and a fumble recovery @ StL (11/20) recorded eight tackles, the most of any defensive lineman vs. Jax (11/27) and also batted down a pass recorded a sack and forced David Carr to fumble on the play which was recovered by Dansby @ Hou (12/18).

2004: A top reserve along Arizona’s defensive line, saw action in 13 games while recording four starts recorded the first sack of his career vs. NE (9/19) when he took down Patriots QB Tom Brady for an 8-yard loss; started at under tackle as the Cardinals used three defensive tackles to start the game (Kolodziej, Darnell Dockett, Russell Davis) suffered an ankle sprain early in the game @ Atl (9/26) and did not return deactivated for the next three games due to the ankle injury returned to action for the first time @ Buf (10/31) started vs. StL (12/19) and played across the defensive line, lining up at tackle and end.

2003: Declared inactive for the first four games of season for the 49ers waived on 9/30.

2002: Attended training camp with Giants but was released on 9/2 signed with San Francisco on 9/7 inactive for four games, did not play in another waived 10/22 re-signed by Giants on 12/4 and appeared in the Giants contest @ Was (12/8).

2001: Appeared in nine games with one start for the Giants concluded rookie season with four tackles came off the bench for injured Keith Hamilton at defensive tackle @ Was (10/28) earned first pro start vs. Dal (11/4) and posted three solo tackles inactive for the final four games of season.

College:

Started 45 games at Wisconsin, fifth-most in school history finished Badger career with 170 tackles, 9 sacks, and 24 tackles for loss also member of Wisconsin Big Ten indoor track championship team, performing in the shot put.

Personal:

Full name Ross Anthony Kolodziej last name pronounced kah-LODGE-ee prep all-America at Stevens Point (WI) High School sociology major at Wisconsin with his wife Miriam, the couple has two daughters, Elizabeth Rose and Taylor Grace, and a son, Asher Cole.
