Ron Kimzey handles all aspects of labor and employment law, including traditional labor law and employment litigation. He assists clients in various industries with labor issues in mergers/acquisitions, privatization, collective bargaining and day-to-day employment issues. Ron serves as a member of the Ford & Harrison Executive Committee.
Ron is an active speaker on labor and employment issues, particularly in the health care industry, and counsels clients in developing management training programs designed to help prevent employment problems from developing in their workplaces.
Ron is a member of the Labor and Employment sections of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. He is also a member of the Labor Relations Advisory Committee. He is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America and is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Prior to serving in the U.S. Army, Ron was an assistant county attorney in Douglas County, Kansas, and had a general legal practice. In the early 1970s, he moved to Georgia to practice labor and employment law exclusively and was a founding partner of Ford & Harrison in 1978. In law school, Ron served as an editor of the Kansas Law Review.
