Ronald Litzinger was elected senior vice president of the Transmission and Distribution business unit of Southern California Edison on May 1 2005.
Most recently he was vice president of Strategic Planning for parent company Edison International having been elected to that position in May 2004.
Previously he was senior vice president and chief technical officer at Edison Mission Energy (EME) since 2002 and senior vice president of EME's Worldwide Operations from 1999 to 2002. His responsibilities included all technical aspects of EME's business worldwide including environmental policy plant operations plant construction information technologies and market analysis. He also led EME's Americas Region business development efforts in 2001 and 2002.
Litzinger who joined Edison Mission Energy in 1995 held several business development positions and was elected vice president in 1998. From 1986 to 1995 he held a variety of plant maintenance and engineering positions at Southern California Edison. Prior to joining Southern California Edison he held engineering positions at both Texaco Inc. and Texaco Refining and Marketing Inc.
Litzinger received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts degree in management from the University of Redlands. |
