Ron graduated from Stanislaus State University in 1978 with his degree in Business Administration. He also participated in the Masters program there. He has been active in many civic activities. He is a Past President of the Modesto Rotary. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Boy Scouts of America and the Advisory Boards of the Stanislaus State University School of Business and the Accounting Department. Ron joined Atherton & Associates in July of 1985 after seven years in the accounting and securities industries. He became a partner in May of 1989. His practice includes tax and financial compliance work as well as tax planning, estate planning and personal financial planning. Ron is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and is certified by those professional organizations in Advanced Personal Financial Planning. |
