Ron B. Reber is President and Chief Operating Officer of SkyWest Airlines. He has served as Chief Operating Officer since 1991 and has served as President since 2005. Ron knows SkyWest from the ground up. He began his career in 1977, working as a Ramp Agent for SkyWest in Cedar City, Utah. In 1978, he was promoted to Station Manager in Cedar City. In 1979, Ron moved to the airlines’ corporate headquarters in St. George, Utah as he was promoted to be the Assistant Director of Customer Service. One year later, he was named as the Director of Customer Service and Marketing. Ron continued to climb SkyWest’s corporate ladder being appointed Vice President of Marketing in 1984. In 1988, he again assumed the responsibilities of Customer Service being promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Customer Service and Marketing. Ron obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from Southern Utah State College in 1978. In 1997, his alma-mater Southern Utah University named him Business Graduate Executive of the Year. Ron is a member of several Chambers’ of Commerce throughout the country. He is a member of the Southern Utah University Alumni Program. He and his wife Nannette live in St. George, Utah. They have a daughter, Ashley. |
