Ron Shuffield is President of EWM and has lived in Miami since 1975. He and his business partner Al Harper, purchased EWM in 1984 and have helped the company grow to an annual sales volume of over $2 billion. Professionally, Ron is a Florida licensed real estate broker and a certified general contractor. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and is a past president on the University of Tennessee South Florida Alumni Association. He is currently serving a term as a member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Board for the University of Tennessee/Knoxville. Ron has been a member of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables since 1964 and currently serves on the Board of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. He is a past chairman of the Chamber and was the recipient of the Robert B. Knight outstanding citizen awarded for 1995-1996. He was the 1996-1997 chairman of the Coral Gables Community Foundation and continues to serve on its board. He is also a Trustee member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce; and he has served as a board member of Baptist Health Enterprises, since 1999.
