Ron has 28 years of broad business and leadership experience in operations, M&A, strategic planning, investor relations and environment, health and safety (EHS) on behalf of a multi-billion dollar international oil company.

Ron most recently directed worldwide EHS efforts with responsibility to Executive Management and the Board of Directors for EHS performance of 18 business units and related management system development. He was also responsible for the leadership of broad line and staff constituencies across a 6500 person company to effect lasting changes with positive personal, cultural and bottom line impacts.

Previously, Ron directed Investor Relations efforts in New York City for the company, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the company’s business units and marketing the company to the investment community to reduce the cost of capital and to maximize valuation. He successfully managed relations with 40 sell-side analysts and more than 500 institutional investors, providing financial guidance to Wall Street while promoting company strategy, management, assets and operations.

The EHS and Investor Relations roles included eight years of work with international businesses, mostly in Asia. This work included business plan, management system and operations reviews, management development, Wall Street guidance determination and culture changing initiatives all with a focus on improving the underlying business performance.

Prior to Investor Relations, Ron served as general manager for one of 30 worldwide asset groups, with assets over $350 million and 90 people. Before that position, he served as Strategic Planning and M&A manager for a $3 billion business unit, the company’s largest. Those two leadership roles, coupled with 10+ prior years of engineering and operations experience, provided sound grounding in the arts of business, management and leadership.

Based on those 28 years of business experience, Ron recognizes the importance of exceptional communication and management of change to connect with the multiple cultures in today’s corporations a key demand of today’s successful leaders. Ron has also seen the value of standardization and best practice efforts and how they, if led well, can streamline costs, improve operating results and build a strong and lasting culture.

Ron holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Cornell University.
