As President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board member of IPP, Ron Averett is responsible for the overall strategic direction and daily operations of the company. Averett brings more than 25 years of senior management experience in banking and financial services to IPP. Prior to joining IPP, Averett was President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board member of Princeton eCom until its successful acquisition by Online Resources (NASDAQ:ORCC) in 2006. Under his guidance, Princeton eCom emerged as an industry leading provider of electronic payment solutions to the banking and biller markets.
Prior to joining Princeton eCom, Averett was a senior vice president in charge of Chevy Chase Bank's $5.2 billion credit card division. Previously, he was a senior vice president at Advanta Corporation where he was responsible for managing Advanta's Gold Card product, a $9.5 billion portfolio. While at Advanta, he was responsible for building its Credit Card Operations. Averett began his financial services career at Citibank.
