Stone, a native of Burlington, Vermont is president of Stone Investment Advisory, Inc. a company he founded in 1995 in Burlington. The company provides employer consultations about the investment portion of retirement plans and institutional investment management. From 1971 until his return to Burlington, Stone worked in the investment management field in Boston. From 1991 to 1995 Stone was a principal at Scudder, Stevens & Clark, Inc. where he was a product leader and portfolio manager of institutional assets. For the prior 15 years Stone was executive vice president, director and chief investment officer--fixed income at State Street Research & Management Co. His responsibilities were investment oversight, asset allocation, economic co-ordination, client service and business management for institutional and mutual fund assets. Stone attended the University of Vermont and received his bachelor of arts in political science in 1964. He resides in Shelburne, Vt. |
