Mr. Kafker has served as a director since July 1999. He has been employed by TA Associates, Inc. since 1989 and currently serves as a managing director. Mr. Kafker concentrates on transactions involving growth service businesses in the financial, consumer and healthcare services industries with a concentration on management-led buyouts and recapitalizations.
Prior to joining TA Associates in 1989, Mr. Kafker was employed by Bankers Trust Company of New York where he worked on leveraged acquisitions. Currently he serves on the board of directors of Clayton Holdings, Inc. and as a director of And 1, Cupertino Electric, and EYP Mission Critical Facilities. He has served on the boards of Affiliated Managers Group, Inc., Allegis Realty Investors LLC (now UBS Realty Investors), ANSYS, Inc., Boron LePore & Associates, Inc., HVL, Inc., Monarch Dental Corporation and Thomson Advisory Group (now PIMCO Advisors LP).
Mr. Kafker received a B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, in history from Haverford College and an M.B.A. with honors from the Harvard Business School. |
