Roger Bruce Vice President of Human Resources Roger is the Vice President of Human Resources and is responsible for the management of all Human Resource functions for Atlanta Life Financial Group, Atlanta Life Insurance Company and Atlanta Life Investment Advisors. Mr. Bruce has more than 25 years experience in Human Resource management experience. He began his career at Southern Bell Telephone, and after six years of upward progression in position and responsibility he was offered the opportunity to head the eastern office of Human Resources for American Hospital Supply Corporation. He has held positions as Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President for Human Resources at Medaphis Services Corporation, T2 Medical, Inc., Spelman College and most recently, Nationwide Credit, Incorporated. Bruce earned a B.A. from Morehouse College and has held board appointments with numerous civic organizations including: Atlanta Jaycees, Atlanta Children's Foundation, Economic Opportunity Atlanta, Butler Street YMCA and Opportunities Industrialization Centers (OIC-Atlanta). He is also a member of The Society For Human Resource Management and Atlanta Human Resources Association. Additionally, Mr. Bruce was recently reelected to a second term as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, serving on the Education, Judiciary and Insurance Committees. As well, Bruce is Vice Chairman of the City of Atlanta/Fulton County legislative delegation. |
