Roger B, Dickinson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Torrington Research Company. Mr. Dickinson is co-founder of Torrington Research Company and has been Chairman from its inception in 1986. Torrington designs and manufactures motorized fans and pumps for high volume OEM applications. Mr. Dickinson transitioned the company from its engineering-only roots to one that uses its technology to achieve high growth in manufacturing. His focus is on the company's business development activities including marketing and creation of its technical concepts. Mr. Dickinson was formerly Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Torin Corporation - a world leader in the production of air moving devices. Prior to Torin, he held a General Management position at ASCO and sales engineering positions with the Trane Company. He earned a BSME degree from Duke University in 1966 and is a registered professional engineer. Mr. Dickinson is a Director of Seitz Corporation, an injection-molding firm in Torrington, CT, serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Advisory Council and is a member of the Board of Finance for the City of Torrington. |
