Rochelle H. Klaskin is a shareholder in the firm's corporate practice group. She leads the corporate law team in the firm's Madison office. Rochelle focuses her practice on private equity, venture capital, general counsel advising, and mergers and acquisitions. She has represented many clients through multiple rounds of venture capital investments and has represented clients in significant M&A transactions. Advising her clients in every stage of their growth, she often acts as an outside general counsel to assist in the drafting and negotiation of licensing, technology development, supply, distribution, and similar agreements. Rochelle also advises her clients regarding the hiring and firing of employees, and employee non-competition, confidentiality and assignment of invention agreements. Rochelle graduated with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and mass communication. She is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Illinois.
