Robert Smith is currently Senior Vice President / Director of New Development for Weingarten Realty Investors. He joined WRI in 1994 as an Associate Director of Leasing. Robert was promoted to Director of New Development in 1996 and received his current title in April 2000.
Prior to joining WRI Robert was a Partner and Marketing Principal for Trammell Crow Company and worked in both Dallas Texas and Seattle Washington. He began his professional career in 1981 with Amelang Woerner Development Company of Austin Texas where he served as Construction and Project Manager.
Robert received his BSED from the University of Oklahoma in 1981 where he had a dual major in both Architecture and Construction Management. He obtained his MBA from the University of Texas in 1984 where he studied Finance with a Real Estate emphasis. |
