Based in Atlanta, he has more than 20 years experience in business location and economic development consulting for clients in the U.S. and abroad. A former Deputy Director of the International Development Research Council (now CoreNet), Mr. Pittman is a widely published author and frequent speaker in the field of business location and economic development. Mr. Pittman also serves as Executive Director of the Community Development Institute at the University of Central Arkansas, a professional training program for economic development professionals, elected officials and public administrators. He holds degrees in economics from Emory University and Northwestern University. |
