Robert Micera is First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc.’s Senior Vice President and National Head of Net Lease Investments. He is a seasoned senior transaction specialist with extensive experience acquiring and underwriting net lease investments, and providing advisory and capital raising services to real estate and corporate clients. Bob has served in both a principal and an advisory capacity, successfully arranging and executing a variety of real estate structured finance solutions representing over $6.3 billion.
Prior to joining First Industrial, Mr. Micera was a managing director in Ernst and Young’s Real Estate Advisory Services group, where he was responsible for expanding its corporate real estate capital markets advisory business. Prior to E&Y, Mr. Micera worked in the Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan Securities, where he advised corporate clients on a wide variety of real estate structured solutions. While at J. P. Morgan, Mr. Micera originated and closed over $5.0 billion in financings. Prior to J. P. Morgan, Mr. Micera worked at Metropolitan Life, where he underwrote and executed over $1 billion of corporate real estate acquisitions and financings for the insurance company’s general and separately-managed real estate accounts. Bob graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in Engineering and has an MBA in Finance from New York University. Mr. Micera is a member of Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. |
