Mr. Main is President of the Professional Optical Concepts, a consulting firm specializing in the ophthalmic industry. Mr. Main has been in the optical industry for over 30 years.
Mr. Main began his optical career as a dispenser in his dad’s Optometric practice. During his career, Mr. Main has worked for Lenscrafters as a Director of Operations and was National Director of Technical Services for Eye Care Centers of America.
Mr. Main has been a CEO for a regionally dominate retail optical chain that also had refractive surgery centers and a managed care company. He has consulted for many independent optometric practices nationwide and has been a surgical assistant for a prominent Chicago Ophthalmologists.
Mr. Main has lectured internationally for many optical meetings, such as Vision Expo, SECO, MidWest Vision Congress, Canadian Opticians Association and numerous state associational meetings.
He has a Masters in Ophthalmic Optics and is a member of the National Academy Opticianry and the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives. |
