Robert Ingram is Safeco’s executive vice president and chief information officer, responsible for the company’s Information Technology (IT) organization. In this role, Ingram leads the enhancement of Safeco’s logistics capabilities and technology infrastructure, driving lower-cost delivery of auto, home and small-business insurance products.
Prior to joining Safeco in February 2008, Ingram served as chief information officer for Argonaut Group, a national underwriter of specialty Property and Casualty insurance products. Before his time at Argonaut Group, he served as senior vice president in IT at USAA, supporting the P&C business. Ingram also managed IT business for Andersen Consulting and IBM.
Ingram holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas A&M University. |
