Bob is a proven technology and business leader with over 25 years of experience in building and managing both start-up and established organizations. Bob has successfully opened relevant new markets and grown new revenue streams including data center block-level virtualization technology at Surgient Networks and leading-edge data classification technology at StoredIQ which applied business requirements to information management and storage. As vice president North America commercial business for Compaq, Bob oversaw a ten point market-share gain in enterprise server, storage and networking products, including products that were designed and by current members of the Pivot3 technology team leadership. Earlier in his career, Bob helped Sun achieve a leading position in servers and storage growing area sales to over a billion dollars. Over the past six years, as CEO of StoredIQ and in other roles, Bob has participated in raising nearly $100M in outside funding. |
