Dr. Bettis received his MD from the University of Kansas. He completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Washington at Swedish Hospital. He co-founded the Edmonds Family Medicine Clinic,a private practice with 28 physicians,where he is the medical director. Dr.Bettis has been the Principal Investigator in over 125 clinical research studies and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals including The Journal of the American Medical Association. He has received numerous awards, including best teacher of the year from the University of Washington family practice department. He is a clinical assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Washington since 1986 and has been involved in teaching family medicine at the University of Washington since 1978. |
