Robert S. Underhill is counsel to the firm where he is a member of the firm's Litigation Department and Banking, Business Financing & Creditors' Rights Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm in September 1996, he was an associate of the former law firm of Mackenzie, Welt, Maher, North & Weeks in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Mr. Underhill concentrates his practice in banking and commercial law, with a particular emphasis on debt collection, foreclosure and the representation of creditors in Bankruptcy Court. He represents major banks and other financial institutions. Mr. Underhill was a member of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Court Lawyers Advisory Committee from 1996 to 2002. A graduate of Northeastern University (1977), Mr. Underhill received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice with high honors and received a law degree, cum laude, from Temple University School of Law (1981), where he was a staff member of the Temple Law Quarterly. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Underhill is admitted to practice in New Jersey; Pennsylvania; and before the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey (1981). |
