Mr. Roath became a director in May 2004 and serves as chairman of the company’s audit committee. He has been chairman of the advisory board to L.E.K. Consulting, a shareholder-value consulting firm, since May 1997. Mr. Roath was chief financial officer and senior vice president of RJR Nabisco, Inc. from April 1995 to April 1997, and corporate controller and senior vice president at RJR Nabisco from September 1990 to April 1995. He has been a director of the InterDigital Communications Corporation since May 1997, where he serves as chairman of the audit committee and a member of the compensation committee. Mr. Roath also is a member of the advisory board of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He received his B.S. degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Maryland in 1966 and is a CPA in New York. |
