Robert Hurley has served as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives since April 1999. Originally recruited to build the sales and sales-support functions Mr. Hurley's responsibilities now include health savings accounts and public and government relations. Mr. Hurley has more than 16 years of experience and leadership in the health insurance industry. Prior to joining eHealth Mr. Hurley served as Associate Vice President of Sales and Operations for the consumer business segment at Health Net Inc. a managed health care company. At Health Net Mr. Hurley directed all aspects of the consumer business segment including product development sales and marketing sales support functions and broker relations and was instrumental in leading the development of the first generation of Web-based solutions for the unit. Mr. Hurley holds a B.A. degree in law and society from the University of California Santa Barbara. |
