Served as Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of the board of directors of Oryx Energy Company 1988 to 1994 -- Sun Exploration and Production Company separated from Sun Company, Inc. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Sun Company since January 1987. Valedictorian of his class at the William Penn Charter School, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in public affairs from Princeton University where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard as a Baker Scholar. Past and present memberships on boards of directors: American Petroleum Institute, Independent Petroleum Association of America, Natural Gas Supply Association, Quaker Chemical Corporation, American Productivity Center, National Association of Manufacturers and the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. He also served as a member of the board of trustees of Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania's Cancer Center. |
