Robert M. Aronson joined the firm in 2005 and is Of Counsel in the firm’s real estate department.
Prior to joining Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, Mr. Aronson was a senior counsel in the financial restructuring group for Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP in Los Angeles, California, where he was responsible for the negotiation and documentation of various loan transactions related to commercial, industrial and multi-family projects throughout California and the western United States on behalf of a national securitized lender.
Some of his notable clients included Centex Homes, Samsung, AT&T, Albertsons, GMAC Commercial Mortgage and Chase Manhattan Bank. Additional work experience includes serving as vice president and counsel for Coast Federal Bank in Granada Hills, California, counsel in the creditor’s rights section for Fulbright & Jaworski LLP and managing partner of the bankruptcy department for a private practice.
Mr. Aronson received his J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in 1978. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1975. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1978.
