Robert M. Hart Senior Vice President and General Counsel since 1994 and Secretary since January 1995, was a partner in the law firm of Donavan Leisure Newton & Irvine LLP before joining Alleghany. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Law Institute, and a Senior Lecturer in Law at Duke University.
