Robert L. Morris is the chief accounting officer for KeyCorp. In this role he leads a team of 100 employees presides over External Reporting Accounting Policy and Research and Accounting operations. He also ensures that the Corporation complies with exacting requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
With more than 30 years of financial experience Morris has received numerous awards. Among them are KeyCorp's Chairman Award and the Encore Award. He uses his corporate savvy to help others by volunteering as a mentor within a career-coaching group for other Black professionals.
Morris received a bachelor of business administration degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield OH. He went on to earn his certification as a public accountant. Morris has been with KeyCorp since 1989. His previous positions within the company include senior vice president of financial operations and integration and most recently corporate controller. |
