Robert L. Friedman has been a director since 2002. Friedman has served since 1999 as a senior managing director of The Blackstone Group L.P. Since 2004, he has also been chief administrative officer and chief legal officer of Blackstone. Prior to 1999, he was a partner of the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
