Robert J. Muldoon, Jr. is a former managing partner of Sherin and Lodgen LLP and a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. He has represented numerous national and international corporations in commercial litigation, and has extensive experience in the defense of numerous life sciences firms and institutions, several local and regional major real estate development entities and many of Boston’s major law firm’s when sued.

Recent Representative Experience

Representation of a major provider of hospice services in a dispute with another such provider where the contesting parties sought mutually to enforce terms of acquisition agreement and non-competition covenant.

Successfully obtained a substantial judgment for international pharmaceutical company in dispute with another such company concerning division of a multi-million dollar settlement of federal ant-trust action.

Represented major Boston law firms in malpractice actions arising out of claims relating to intellectual property matters, including patent and copyright cases.

Recently concluded a 31-day trial representing, among others, one of the country’s major medical schools and a leading Boston hospital dealing with the continued operation and management of a substantial trust that supports the institution.

Recently commenced representing a leading Boston hospital in matters relating to the operation and staffing of its epidemiology unit.

Co-counsel for generic pharmaceutical company in Hatch-Waxman Act proceeding against brand company resulting in successful invalidation of medical product patent and in highly successful follow-on anti-trust action against that company.

Chief litigation counsel for major Boston residential and commercial redevelopment partnerships in litigations arising out of land use, breach of contract, environmental, acquisition and tenant relationship issues.
