Bob has global responsibility for setting ThinkFire’s technical policies as well as managing projects within the Portfolio Operations group. His duties include managing reverse engineering projects across numerous technologies, developing internal patent tools, and personally asserting patents as a subject matter expert for various client portfolios.
Bob was formerly a patent manager for both the Wireless and Data Networking portfolios at Lucent Technologies and was granted patents in the areas of wireless computer security and universal time corrections. His engineering career spanned 17 years at Bell Laboratories, where he worked on the design and development of specialized telecommunications equipment ranging from electrical and optical transmission and switching system interfaces to primary reference "atomic clocks" used for network synchronization.
Bob holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and has been an Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since the mid 1980s. |
