Robert J. Hack, 46 is chief operating officer of Southern Union Company’s Missouri Gas Energy division a position he has held since January 2006.
Prior to being named to his current position, Hack served as Missouri Gas Energy’s vice president of pricing and regulatory affairs and chief legal officer.
Hack joined Missouri Gas Energy as a senior attorney in 1996. Prior to joining MGE, he served as the general counsel for the Missouri Public Service Commission. He began his career in a general practice law firm in Kansas City before accepting a position with the Missouri State Tax Commission.
He earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Southern Methodist University and his juris doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law.
Hack serves on the board of the Missouri Energy Development Association and is a member of the Kansas City Crime Commission. He is a member of the bar in Missouri and Kansas as well as holding membership in the Energy Bar Association.
He resides in Fairway, Kansas.
