Robert H. Zeiger has served as a member of our board of directors since October 2004. Mr. Zeiger served as our lead independent director from February 2005 to June 2006. From June 2006 to October 2006, Mr. Zeiger served as our Executive Chairman on an interim basis. From October 2000 to the present, Mr. Zeiger has served as a marketing consultant for a number of privately-held pharmaceutical companies. From May 1995 to October 2000, Mr. Zeiger served in a variety of positions for Viragen, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company. Mr. Zeiger served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Viragen from May 1995 to September 1998 and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors from October 1998 to October 2000. From 1985 to 1994, Mr. Zeiger served in a variety of positions for Glaxo, Inc., a pharmaceutical company, including Vice President and General Manager of Glaxo Dermatology, Allen & Hanbury and Glaxo Pharmaceuticals. From 1979 to 1985, Mr. Zeiger served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales of Stiefel Laboratories, an international dermatology company. From 1971 to 1979, Mr. Zeiger served as National Sales Manager for Knoll Pharmaceutical, a pharmaceutical company. Mr. Zeiger holds a B.S. in marketing from Loyola University.
