Rob has over 20 years of recorded success within the technology, medical, defense, energy, chemical distribution, manufacturing and construction industries. Rob's experience has involved him in start-ups, merger integration and divestiture management, along with satisfying his entrepreneurial goals. Rob has performed in a variety of operations, marketing, and management positions with progressive responsibility at firms such as Boeing Aerospace, Air Products and Chemicals Inc., Electrosource Inc., and Texas Instruments. His military duty was in the Medical Corp of the U.S. Army, where he was awarded the Meritorious Service medal. Rob led and taught medical laboratory procedures from basic phlebotomy through tissue typing while he became a published author in the field of genetic technology. In his roll as a Worldwide Product Marketing Manager at Millipore Inc., a firm focused on providing processing solutions to the semiconductor, fiber optic, and thin film industries, he managed and executed a number of deals and initiatives resulting in superior market performance through vertical marketing, alliances, and joint ventures on a global scale. Additionally, Rob founded two companies, growing and then divesting his interest. He was founder and President of Strategic Initiatives, a marketing firm specializing in introducing products and services to market with a focus on intelligent revenue growth. Rob has earned an A.A.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology from North Dakota State College of Science; B.A. from The Evergreen State College, and has taken numerous graduate level courses at Southern Methodist University's Graduate School of Business. He is the recipient of numerous awards for marketing, management, educational excellence, and leadership throughout his career, is a member of various professional organizations, and is a respected leader for several non-profit societies. |
