Robert (Bob) Goodson directs energy-related marketing services and information technology services provided by TSE Services to cooperative organizations and businesses nationwide. TSE Services, owned by North Carolina’s electric cooperatives, provides market research; account management and energy services; and information technology services, including network and telecommunications, software services, and energy management services.
Bob brings more than 30 years of diverse experience in large, public and private firms in the electric utility industry.
Prior to joining TSE Services, Bob was a senior executive with Entergy Integrated Solutions, Inc., where he directed the national sales and marketing efforts for the energy management company. Bob’s responsibilities included managing energy services performance contracts and managing energy-efficiency projects for a number of major national accounts.
Bob has served in executive positions at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) where he developed business opportunities and marketing products for 160 power distributors and managed the business operations for the TVA Generating Group consisting of nuclear, coal and hydroelectric plants.
Bob has also held a number of executive and management positions with Entergy Corporation, New Orleans, La., in the areas of administration; energy supply and delivery; corporate and strategic planning; economic development; and customer service.
Bob began his career in the nuclear plant design and construction field with Bechtel Power Corporation and Combustion Engineering, Inc.
Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He currently serves as chairman of the NC GreenPower Board. |
