Robert Breakfield is the sole practitioner of a law practice in Rock Hill South Carolina. He specializes in Income and Estate taxation; Wills and Estates and Business Law. Mr. Breakfield has been a Professor of Business Law at Winthrop University in Rock Hill South Carolina since 1976.
Mr. Breakfield’s education includes a BBA from the United States International University in 1968 a J.D. from California Western Law School in 1971 and an LLM Master in taxation from Boston University Law School.
Mr. Breakfield served in the United States Marine Corp from 1965 through 1974 as a JAG Officer stationed in Beaufort South Carolina.
Mr. Breakfield’s civic and professional activities include serving as Co-chair of the Clinton Junior College Library Foundation board member of Westminister Towers SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Foundation and The Girls Homes Inc. where he served as president for a six-year term. He has served on the boards of the Cultural and Heritage Committee YMCA Red Cross York County Community Track Association and on the advisory boards of Wachovia Bank and South Carolina Bank and Trust.
