Mr. Riley joined J.W. Childs Associates in August 2005. Mr. Riley will be focused on exploring potential opportunities in the investment management sector. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Riley was President and Chief Executive Officer of Joseph P. Kennedy Enterprises, Inc. from 1998 to 2005. Previous to this position, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Leggatt McCall Properties Group, LLC, a Boston based real estate investment management, property management and development company. Mr. Riley has also held senior positions in several other financial services organizations. He was with Putnam Investment Companies in Boston for 25 years, serving as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for eight years. Mr. Riley was with Prudential Investment Corporation from 1983 to 1994, serving as Chairman and CEO of several Prudential subsidiaries including Prudential Asset Management Company, the Prudential Realty Group, Prudential Residential Services Company and Prudential Reinsurance Company. Following Mr. Riley’s retirement from Prudential, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer of the Dreyfus Corporation, investment advisor for the Dreyfus group of mutual funds. Mr. Riley graduated from Holy Cross College, Magna Cum Laude and received an M.B.A from the Harvard Business School. |
