Robert D. Roseman is a principal in the firm’s Tyson’s Corner and Rockville offices. Mr. Roseman specializes in real estate transactions and business. He represents a variety of privately held businesses and lenders and provides real estate, general corporate and business advice. Mr. Roseman has extensive experience in commercial and multi-unit residential real estate transactions and has represented lenders, developers and investors in the areas of project finance, development and management. Mr. Roseman also represents foreign investors in their acquisition of real estate and has represented U.S. investors in the acquisitions, financing, development and management of property overseas. Before joining Miles & Stockbridge P.C., Mr. Roseman practiced as a sole practitioner since October 2003. From March 1996 to October 2003, he was with the Washington D.C. and Tyson’s Corner Virginia offices of Williams, Mullen, a large regional firm where he served as regional head of the Real Estate group and as the firm’s administrative Partner in the Tyson’s Corner office. From 1991 to early 1996, he was with the Washington D.C. law firm of Galland, Kharasch, Morse & Garfinkle and served as chair of the firm’s Business and commercial Group. A founding partner of the Bethesda, Maryland firm of Lerch, Early Roseman and Brewer, he practiced with and served as Chairman of the firm and was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Chair of the firm’s Transactional Real Estate Group from 1973 to 1991.
