Mr. McCurdy has been with the SJL Television Group since 1983 and supervises the day to day financial and legal operations of the various SJL entities. He has additional responsibilities for maintaining a competitive level of employee benefits for employees of SJL stations as well as for purchasing all property, casualty and liability insurance.

He is a native of Montana and is a graduate of Montana State University School of Business with a degree in Finance. Upon graduation in 1973, he began employment in banking with a division of what is now Wells Fargo and by the time he left in 1978, he had risen to the position of Comptroller. Leaving banking in 1978, Mr. McCurdy began working in real estate development until 1983, when he moved into broadcasting and began his relationship with George Lilly and SJL.

From 1983 through the present, Dave has had complete financial responsibility in the acquisition and sale of over twenty television properties, which has included developing business plans and operating projections. It has also included developing strong working relationships with the seller or the purchaser of the property, a number of senior and subordinated lenders and venture groups.
