Mr. Ingram was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International in August 2006. He is also Vice Chairman Pharmaceuticals of GlaxoSmithKline. He formerly was the CEO and Chairman of GlaxoWellcome.
He serves as Chairman of the Board of OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He also serves on the board of directors of Allergan Inc., Edwards Lifesciences Corporation, Lowe's Companies, Inc., Nortel Networks and the Wachovia Corporation.
He is Vice chairman of the American Cancer Society Foundation; Founder of CEO Roundtable on Cancer; Chairman of American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education; and member of the Boards for Business Higher Education Forum, James B. Hunt Jr. Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy, National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, President's Roundtable, N.C. Institute of Medicine, Project HOPE, and Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina.
Mr. Ingram graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BS degree in Business Administration. |
