Mr. Willis has been engineering enterprise infrastructure solutions since 1990. While at ExxonMobil and Mobil, Mr. Willis served as a principal architect for Global Information Services and was responsible for the design, development, and integration of a global infrastructure with particular emphasis on a managed server and desktop environment. The resulting product was implemented for 30,000 users initially and expanded to over 100,000 users at over 200 sites in 40 countries and in 7 languages. This implementation led to an estimated annual savings of $63 million. The project involved the integration of a complex set of infrastructure components from multiple vendors.Armed with this deep enterprise experience, he became an entrepreneur in September, 2000 when he co-founded Excybra, Geniant's Infrastructure subsidiary. The company was formed with the specific goal of delivering world-class enterprise infrastructure solutions.Mr. Willis was responsible for forming the core team, defining the best practices and blueprints for all the service offerings. Just a few of the client relationships Mr. Willis was instrumental in developing included: ExxonMobil, Triad Hospitals, Mary Kay, First American, and Baker Botts. Mr. Willis pioneered Geniant's initial relationship with Microsoft and can be credited with making Geniant's Infrastructure Practice one of the most sought after Microsoft Gold Solution Provider's in the South Central region. Having established a strong platform for growth, Mr. Willis now works for Microsoft as a Senior Technology Specialist and continues as a key member of Geniant's Advisory Board.Mr. Willis holds a B.Sc. in Computer Sciences from The University of Brighton, UK, having graduated with honors. |
