Mr. Neumann is the Senior Vice President of IP and Consulting at Globalcom. Rob has many years of experience in consulting and technology initiatives. Rob is responsible for operating the IP telecommunications business and consulting practice at Globalcom. His work focuses on IP and VoIP initiatives and technology-related projects for customers. More specifically, his work focuses on the telecommunications, public utility, finance and banking and health care industries. Rob’s work includes management consulting with regard to large technology initiatives at Fortune 500 companies, telecommunications wiring and competition for numerous clients, technology roadmap initiatives and organizational design and implementation. Prior to joining Globalcom, Rob was a Managing Director and General Counsel at a technology-consulting firm working with clients on technology initiatives and managing the Telecom Practice and the Compliance and Risk Groups. Rob was also Of Counsel at a large Chicago-based law firm working in the corporate and technology practices and prior to that a Senior Manager in Accenture's Strategy Practice based in Chicago. Rob’s projects include development of technology roadmaps for the utility industry, out-of-region expansion planning for a regional Bell operating company and implementing technology improvements to finance departments for clients. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago - GSB, a JD from IIT-Chicago-Kent College of Law and undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin - Madison. |
