Mr. Virk possesses extensive experience as an entrepreneur, manager and technologist, and is nationally known as a thought leader in knowledge management, enterprise portals and XML publishing.Before co-founding CambridgeDocs, Mr. Virk was CEO and founder of Inner Vision Technologies, an Internet consulting firm specializing in corporate portals. Inner Vision was acquired by Unitas Corporation in 2000, where Mr. Virk served as CTO. Prior to Inner Vision, Mr. Virk was a co-founder of Service Metrics, an Internet company that developed technology to monitor performance of web sites, and which was purchased by Exodus Communications in 1999. From 1993-1997, Mr. Virk was CEO and co-founder of Brainstorm Technologies, a fast-growth company that helped more than 2000 customer organizations develop and deploy collaborative applications using Lotus Notes. Brainstorm's products were acquired by Percussion Software in 1997.Mr. Virk frequently writes and lectures on Internet technology and entrepreneurship, and has been featured in periodicals ranging from the Boston Globe to Inc. Magazine. Mr. Virk holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT. |
