Rikke Vognsen joined DSA as a Principal in 1990. She is responsible for all of the firm’s operations, including recruiting, accounting, and MIS. Prior to DSA, Rikke worked for The Equity Group, a collection of companies owned or operated by Sam Zell. With Equity, her responsibilities included coordinating the recruitment efforts for many of the company’s real estate holdings mainly office buildings, apartments and shopping centers. During the firm’s rapid expansion after creating public funds, she spearheaded the placement of 200 executives throughout the Zell companies. Prior to joining Equity, Rikke worked as an executive recruiter on national placements in all areas of real estate. Her recruiting career began in banking, where she managed a group while becoming a top producer for her firm. Rikke’s first career was with an international computer company, after which she became a partner in a computer-consulting firm. She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in business.
