Rik Bart de Jonge joined BJW Signium International, in 2007, as an Associate Partner.

Rik has a long and successful career within Heineken. Heineken is one of the world's leading brewers in terms of sales volume and profitability and has the widest presence of all international brewers through a global network of distributors and breweries. In volume terms Heineken is the largest brewer and beverage distributor in Europe where the group realises more than half of its sales. Heineken employs more then 60.000 people. The Heineken brand, available in almost every country on the planet, is the world's most valuable international premium beer brand. Total turnover: € 11 billion.

Rik spent 8 years for the company in various countries. One of his first assignments was commercial director in Ireland. Later he became the General Manager in Hungary and Slovakia.

From 1997 until 2002, he was the Corporate Director HR at Head Office. Finally, before joining BJW Signium International, he was Director Export and Managing Director North-West Europe, both reporting to the Chairman of the Board.

As Managing Director Northern Europe he was managing 18 countries in the North West European region (Germany, UK, Scandinavia, Baltics, Belgium, Ireland and Switzerland) including brewing operations, licenses, export, joint ventures and a global service organisation.

As Director Export he was responsible for the export of Heineken to 120 countries.

Rik holds a Dutch master degree in Law, is married, and has three sons. His hobbies include sports and music.
