Rick Tattersfield, Vice President, Global Operations, comes to GT Solar Incorporated with two decades of experience in global operations, including Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and Supply Chain. Previously, Mr. Tattersfield was the Corporate VP Quality and Technical Services in the Test and Measurement Division of ITW Corp, a $16b diversified manufacturing company. Mr. Tattersfield ensured the quality, compliance and integrity of all products and services produced worldwide. Mr. Tattersfield previously held roles as VP Operations for Instron’s Dynamic Systems division, VP Operations and joint General Manager of Instron Schenck Testing, and General Manager Amsler Otto Wolpert Werk GmbH. A graduate of the Royal Navy Engineering College (UK), Cranfield Institute of Technology (UK) and the MIT-Sloan School's Greater Boston Executive Education Program, Mr. Tattersfield is a member of ASQ, the National Society of Professional Engineers and the British Institute of Management. |
