Rick has more than 15 years of management consulting experience specializing in assisting research institutions with strategic planning operational improvement and compliance management. Prior to joining Huron Rick was a Principal with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where he worked with CSC's Healthcare Strategy practice. Prior to CSC Rick was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers's (PwC's) Global Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences practice where he led PwC's Clinical Research Consulting Team.

Clinical Research Administration and Compliance
Led many engagements to assess and recommend improvements related to the organizational structure and compliance environment of clinical research enterprises at both academic and health care institutions.
Developed and delivered training presentations related to clinical research compliance topics including HIPAA billing compliance IRB policies and conflicts of interest.
Employed "game theory" simulation software to assist an academic health center with the development and evaluation of a plan to double their volume of clinical trials within five years.
