Rick has been an independent technology consultant for over 14 years, and prior to that he headed the IT operations for an international telecommunications company and a regional mortgage banking firm. He has completed numerous technology training courses and holds many recognized industry certifications. He has also written, and subsequently had published, two software products and has acted as a technical consultant on a third. As evidence of his technical vision, Rick began advocating Internet based communications and commerce before Netscape Navigator or Yahoo! were conceived. He created and published a corporate web site for the telecommunications firm back when the total number of Internet web sites numbered less than 3000.
